Philadephia - The MAGNIFICAT Day - Saturday, November 9, 2013

Dear Friends,

The Magnificat Day 2013, held in the City of Brotherly Love on November 9th, gave thousands of believers a tremendous opportunity to celebrate the graces received during the Year of Faith and to “rediscover the joy of believing.”

If you would like to help us organize similar events in other cities throughout the country, please consider making a donation to the Magnificat Foundation. In doing so, you will help thousands more fellow Americans rediscover that same joy.

Please visit www.magnificatfoundation.org for more information.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Pierre-Marie Dumont

The Magnificat Day was without a doubt the best retreat day I have ever attended.
You thought of everything from A to Z to make it a spiritual experience.
Thank you particularly for making the adoration chapel available for a totally quiet space with the blessed sacrament away from the hubbub of the hallway chatter.
When processing down the streets of Philadelphia with our candles, I only could think of the people processing in the streets of Poland with John Paul II asking for God’s presence. It was an incredibly spiritual experience to be a part of this day.
Thank you.

Dear ALL At Magnificat ,
What can we say about Magnificat Day in Philadelphia!
My community and I thoroughly enjoyed the very uplifting day.
It was also awesome to see that part of the city of Philadelphia was closed (or stopped) for traffic to let the Eucharistic Jesus pass by. THANK YOU!
Yes! Thank you for everything and for giving us this great opportunity.
Keep up the good work and may God bless you!

This little email cannot do justice to all we want to express to the Magnificat Foundation and to the hundreds of people who put together Magnificat Day in Philadelphia.
We are from New Jersey (Jersey Strong) who belong to a Ladies Bible Study.
THE DAY WAS GLORIOUS!
Thanks be to God for the Magnificat Foundation.

I just wanted to let you know that yesterday was a glorious day in Philadelphia!
The foundation did a wonderful job arranging a lavishly beautiful and meaningful day.
All the folks I took were deeply moved (some to tears).
Thanks to all of you who worked so hard.

And I woke up this morning with the same feeling!

THANK YOU JOANN

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful Magnificat Day in Philadelphia
last weekend. This is the first time I attended a conference at which there was more
time spent in prayer than listening to speakers. That made us ready to hear God’s word
when the speakers gave their presentations. And it was so beautiful.
The orchestra was amazing. That you for making beauty a part of this.
It really makes a difference.
Keep up the good work for our beautiful Lord and God.
God bless you in your work.

I wished I could of been there, but I was in spirit through Ewtn.
I especially enjoyed the procession of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in the streets of Philadelphia, my heart was moved and was inspired to see the powerful witness of all the faithful who braved the cold to show their devotion.

Watched it from start till end, in between household chores.
The celebration made my day, perhaps my best Saturday so far. Love, love, love it
